Well, I think as a good DBA, the ability to work under presure is very important. It doesn't mean you db will crash every day, but you should be prepared for that. How could we handle so much presure? Think about when the phone is ringing, people around you keep talking. at that moment, you can't simply say, "give me a break" because yuo still have problems to fix. And the bad thing is -- that's what you machine says, "give me a break". |
