请问能不能在pc上装unix,装sap对unix有没有要求

I have done it on Linux 6.1. This is my hardware config:
- Pentium 233
- 320MB RAM
- 20 GB Maxtor IDE hard disk (10GB only for Linux)

If you just want to know something about SAP or doing some ABAP testing, the profermance is quick ok.

Actually, this Linux version only includes the Basis. No any application is running.

Of course, I say the performance is Ok just because I can accept it.

There are some parameters for your reference:

Start SAP Instance  - 1.5 Minutes
Start SAPGUI       -  20 Seconds
Login                      -  20 Seconds
/nse38                   -  5 Seconds
/nse11                   -  5 Seconds

Can you accept this kind of speed for your fun?

may I ask for a permanent keycode from SAP for the Linux version? and how about the access key or develop key?

SAP does not give out any permanent keycode for this Linux version. The key will last for 3 monthes. But you still can renew your license key code 7 days before expiry.

SAP give you one develop key - authorize code for this system. You can find it out inside the installation CD.

For RedHat, it seems SAP only support version 6.1. For other Linux distributor, I have never try.
