在我看来，虽然所有的商品可以做CORSS DOCKING，但不是所有的商品都要做CORSS DOCKING，原因比较简单，物流中心作业效率（能力）有限，配送时间比较短，CORSS DOCKING是否能来的急？供应商送货不准时是否能满足前端客户的需求？如果全部用作CORSS DOCKING所产生的成本企业是否能够承担？还有就是部分供应商直送的SKU是否真的需要CORSS DOCKING？

看的我头昏了，我还是睡觉去了。你们继续讨论，等我清醒一点的时候再仔细看了。

CROSSDOCKING需要的是流通快的东西。具有一定规模的物品，只作短暂的逗留。
如果有分拣系统的，可是直接贴出库码上分拣机分拣。
比如不能上的，超市里面的大米之类的，就播种式出库。
还有一种直接配送，并不通过配送中心，但是走配送中心帐务。。

Cross-docking is a strategy that Wal-mart made famous.In this sys.,warehouses function as inventory coordination points rather than as inventory storage points.goods arrive at warehourse from manufacturer,are transferred to vehicles serving the retailers and are delivered to retailers as rapidly as possible.normally time is less 12 hours.

2.decreases lead times by decreasing storage time

1.require a significant start-up investment.
2.DC,retailers,suppliers must be linked with advanced info.
3.fast and responsive transportaton is also important.
4.forecasts are critical,necessitating the sharing of info.
5.this strategies are only for large DS .'cause in this DS a large num. of vehicles are delivering and picking up goods at the cross-dock facilities at any one time
comparing traditional stategies warehousing ,the cross-docking ,direct shipment have some adv.
but different approaches are used for different products.making it necessary to analyze the SC and determine the appropriate approaches to use for particular product

cross-docking比较适合高流量、保质期要求高的商品。低流量的也可以做到一些分拆配送。
其实如果是流量特别高，而且供方物流能力很强的商品还可以做VMI，共同做出时刻表和确定窗口开放情况。

In Netherlands, there are few DC for flower business, using cross docking system. Yunan flower DC also having similar concept
Genrally, dry, fast moving items are encouraged to apply cross-docking system.
Retailers and Supermarket DC are very typical examples

个人意见： X-docking同样也适用于高价值的IT产品，如CPU.将CPU放在仓库储存个十天半个月是不敢想像的。所以一般要做0库存，也就是JIT. 所以本人认为从整个运作模式来讲，X-docking并没有什么创新。
