For 1st question, it is big question, I mean scope, if I were you, I will try to explain by some example, e.g. production order calculation... something like that... basically, the following item would be considered:
1. cost related to material which issue to production order.
2. labor or production cost...labor hour or machine hour you enter when you confirmed the production, the formula defined in work center will link the time consumption with activity rate...
3. overhead, it is case by case, e.g. cost sheet...
basically, it is better to highlight the process or master data related to cost. e.g. what do you have to set up in work center for cost purpose... something like that...
