no matter how many books you read, how many simulators you do, if you haven't know about unix, haven't create a database in script, don;t know about the network, the tcp/ip... then Oracle won't be your friend

simulator 6CD is for oracle 8, not 8i. So it has non-sense if you want to learn more top technology of oracle database!
