This is to announce the availability of Solution for China Accounting Software
Data Interface Standard Release 1.0, which is delivered by Patch 5100238. This
note contains important information that you should read before you begin your
installation.

Instructions for Applying Patch 5100238
Prerequisite Patch Application Instructions
You must have already completed an installation of, or upgrade to, Oracle
Applications Release 11.5.10.2 before applying the Patch 5100238 to get all
functionalities of Solution for China Accounting Software Data Interface
Standard Release 1.0.
If you do not already have a running Release 11i system, then you must first
install the Oracle E-Business Suite. Please consult the related installation
documentation, located on the Oracle Applications Online Documentation CD on
Oracle MetaLink.

readme.txt - information about the CD contents, features, and bug fixes
contained in Release 1.0. Read this before installing or using Solution for
China Accounting Software Data Interface Standard.

The corresponding online documentation patch for the Solution for China
Accounting Software Data Interface Standard is Patch 5732895. This
documentation patch should be applied as a post install step.

Product Limitations of Release 1.0
The consolidated cash flow statement only supports two-level group company and
the parent company must full own subsidiary companies.
The Solution of China Accounting Software Data Interface Standard only supports
one natural account segment and one project segment, which means if users setup
more than one natural segment or one project segment, the sub-account segment
or sub-project segment will not be export by the related programs.
Known Issues
User might meet problems while generating PDF/Excel format output for Cash
flow statement program – Intercompany Transaction Validation. (Bug 5373520)
Workaround
User can select RTF/HTML as output format when submitting the program.
Instructions for applying Patch 5100238
Tasks included in these instructions require use of the AutoPatch, AD
Administration, and other AD utilities. For information about how to
use these utilities, refer to Oracle Applications Maintenance Utilities,
Release 11i Oracle Applications Maintenance Utilities, Release 11i.
If you have languages other than American English licensed in your installation,
you should apply the translated versions (if they exist) of each Oracle
Applications patch referenced in these instructions immediately after applying
the American English version, unless the instructions state otherwise.

The following pre-install steps must be completed prior to applying 5100238.
If you already completed a step during a previous 11i patch application, then
you do not need to complete the step again, unless otherwise specified.

The following patches are required prior to applying the Patch 5100238.

5132766 - ERROR WHEN USE ELSIF AND VARIABLE AND RELATIVE XPATH IN ETEXT TEMPLATE
Applying the Patch 5100238
This patch contains one or more driver files to be applied with AutoPatch:
u5100238.drv
The following must be completed after running the generate driver using AD
Administration (adadmin):
Generate message files.
Compile APPS schema(s).
Compile flexfield data in AOL tables.
Compile Menu Information. |
