Crack, CISSP and ....
The debate is heated up.
Please let make myself clear:
- I am not cybercop. I am a Chinese grown up in China now live in Canada;
- I am a CISSP. I claimed to follow the (ISC)2 Code of Ethics; This means (among other things) that I do not crack software, I do not use cracked software; Also, it means I will promote IS Security, and promote CISSP as a profession;
- I do not make comment on policis, no comment on nationality, no comment on industry, no comment on history, I make no joke on CISSP issues;
- We are talking about CISSP candidates using cracked CISSP practise test software;
- As stated above, I will do my best to let people not to use cracked software; and as I am promoting CISSP as a profession, I will help CISSP candidates understand the importance of subscribe to (ISC)2 Code of Ethics;
- Everyone has the ability and has the right to make his/her own judgement on this issue. But, if a CISSP candidate has cracking activities, as a CISSP, I am obliged to speak out and to stop it - no matter it happens in North America or China;
- Nothing political, this is purely common sense: when you apply for CISSP, you will make a promise. If you can not keep your promise, DO NOT make it - do not apply for CISSP.
"我没有打算考CISSP,那么我是用软件是否老兄就没有意见了呢?"
For those of you who are not going after CISSP:
It is none of my business for whatever you would like to use. But, do you really need my help to make a judgement?
On the other hand, you do not have to get yourself involved in this 'CISSP candidates using cracked CISSP practise test' stuff, you have nothing to do with this (ISC)2 Code of Ethics.
A side note:
History has nothing to do with it. Do you realize you have to pay license when you purchase a colour TV? You may not like it, but you have to pay for the heavy license fee that the manufacturer transferred to you. I may have already stepped on somebody's toe - this is the pure fact - you are FORCED to pay, and you paid.
To whom does not have a ‘Imported/Joint Venture Manufactured’ Colour TV, I apologize for bring this up to you, this FORCED to pay stuff is none of your business.
To sum up, I think everyone come into this forum and particularly this topic has the education, knowledge and intelligence to make a good judgement, out of common sense. Sometimes because of the fact is so obvious, we just don't see it.
btw. I would love to type in Chinese, it is too slow. I have 'quanpinyin' only. To make it worse, my English spelling is really bad. Please bear with me. Thanks for reaching this far. |
