Like excel sheet, a buffer is just a cell, while cache is the whole sheet contains a lot of cell.

There is indeed suspicion of 咬文爵字. But this brings up a question why the word cache is not translated in buffer cache. Who did the official Chinese translation of Oracle documentation? Oracle China support?
