SCM Dept. Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Accounts Development
▪ Maintains existing relationship with customers and explores development opportunities
▪ Develops Account Development Plan
▪ Coordinates depot resources to meet accounts development requirements
Solutions Development
▪ Reviews and analyzes customers’ requirement to develop optimum and practical solution that will meet customers’ supply chain needs while at the same time maximizing the use of internal resources
▪ Develops cost template and pricing models that will meet customers’ expectation while maintain company profit expectations
▪ Presents to customers at very senior level to gain buy-in of solution and proposed options and costs
▪ Trains and leads a team of staff to provide solution design
Project Implementation
▪ Organizes and leads project teams to implement logistics projects for the customers
▪ Project manage and ensures smooth implementation with interests parties such as: IT (system integration), 3PL operations (process integration), warehouse operations, transportation, freight, express, HR (recruitment), finance (procurement), admin, and other managers, etc
▪ Ensures implementation within budget
▪ Manages logistics project implementation from design concepts to daily running and subsequent monitoring
Business Management
▪ Monthly review of business operations and business profitability
▪ KPI reviews
▪ Identifies areas of opportunity for improvement
▪ Identifies areas of opportunity for new businesses with existing customers
▪ Responsible for the P & L performance of SCM Dept. |
