I don't have RAC for AIX env.

but I suspect the LMS issue is abnormal , that 's why I suggest you check the version for possible bug .

9.2.0.3 maynot be good , you may check 9.2.0.4 , the most stable level I exeperice .

But please do your test first.

since you can access Metalink, just open a iTAR or check for any bug there . cheers

I think you're confusing load balance with failover. Many OPS or RAC users use the failover feature but not load balance to minimize cross instance calls.

这样的方式，对应用系统的就有要求了。
如果是多个系统，就可以一个实例服务几个系统，分开使用；
但我的环境只有一个应用系统，就很难分开使用！
