请教:db2和oracle的性能比较,谁更强?

　　从在win2000 server 上的安装，及从DB2的安装介面上DB2明显不如Oracle(还是用的类似95的介面，加上JAVA的东西罢了），并且安装到一半，无任何提示信息就退出去了，我们银行也用DB2，我想只不过是,IBM 用不成熟的成品，拼命到你口袋里抢钱用。连在WIN98下的安装，如数据仓库也没有提示，不能安装上，如此产品，真的太臭了。
　　我也想考一个DB2的认证，因为DB2懂的人少，不过我现在不想去考了，就是考了，又有什么用，我情愿把Oracle搞精了，拿不拿证无所谓。

其实DB2是收购了informix后才被人看好的，应该是informix做了DB2的强有力的支持，才有DB2的今天，不过说到性能，二者不相上下！DB2的限制更多！

DB2 to Oracle is like Jews to Arabs. Jews and Arabs are all descendents of Abraham, different wives of course. They are brothers, but nowadays they are deadly enemies to each other.

DB2 and Oracle are all based on the same research prototype IBM put out - System R. Legend has it that Larry Ellison "got hold of" the System R specifications and decided it was the next big thing. So he and a couple of guys wrote the first version of Oracle based on that spec. DB2 incidentally was based on System R too. So you see, Oracle and DB2 are really brothers. But still they are fighting each other to death.
