[SOLARIS] 8安装问题

这是在安装E3500时会遇到的问题。我也曾经碰到过。原因就是因为3500用的是光纤硬盘贰不是scsi硬盘，这造成硬盘中的一个wwn号会与disk中的显示有时不一致，而造成无法正常启动。解决方法就是用devalias将你真正在用的硬盘作一个定义（如：mydisk）然后将boot device改成mydisk即可。另：要看3500的硬盘不能用probe-scsi-all,而要用probe-fcal。

Oops! My mistake.

The probe-scsi-all command does not function identically on all platforms and does not in all cases probe for Fibre Channel devices . In such instance, You could use show-devs or you could use probe-fcal & proble-fcal-all to find Fibre Chanle devices.

Note:

1. Try to use nvalias instead of devalias. If you use devalias, you will lose the setting after power recycle.

2. Both internal Disks for E3500 and Disks inside A5x00 Disk Array are using FC-AL interface not SCSI interface.

3. Usually people use external Multipack for OS and external Disk Arrays for application data. You could install the OS on the external A5x00 disk array but not recommended.
