拷贝还是需要的。datafile毕竟还在 AIX ASM 下， AIX ASM 迁移到 Linx ASM . 中转系统是 GPFS 。

GPFS 集群文件系统可以同时挂载AIX , LINUX 下 (组成一个混合集群)，但是AIX 下原 ASM 下的文件还是需要拷贝(不管用rman cp, 还是 asm cp)到 GPFS 下，然后在Linux 目标端 RMAN Convert 。

You're right. I only had actual files on file system in my mind. I forgot you were talking about files in ASM.

If you were not using ASM but using files on a GPFS file system, you would not need to copy files. Just need to "convert" them.

看完了诸位的解答，有几个问题不是很明白，望请指导：
首先，第一种方案肯定不行，涉及到大小字节的问题
第二种方案，假设采用GPFS作为中转文件系统，那么请问从AIX的ASM中拷贝到GPFS中，文件还是属于在AIX系统中那应该还是属于Big类型字节，那么当GPFS挂载到linux中的时候能够进行rman的convert吗？鉴于没有实体环境，所以测试不了。满是疑惑

GPFS 是可以跨平台的cluster文件系统，所以文件在Linux上是可以看到的（注意是看到）。你提到的：

是的，GPFS目录下的文件还是big的(不是big就不需要convert步骤了，不是说到了linux上就是little了) ，其实和 scp 到Linux端是一样的，这个文件在 Linux端的文件系统下，也还是Big字节的，可以convert , 只有在RMAN Convert后才变成了Little 字节序。

I agree with tolywang. Before the file is converted, the file is readable i.e. makes sense to the reader, either a person or the software that knows the file's format, on AIX, but not on Linux, even if the Linux box can be or is attached to the GPFS. After the conversion, Linux can read the file but AIX loses the ability, and will see garbage when reading the file.
