Senior Technical Analyst (Oracle DB) � Oracle Support Services
Support
OBJECTIVE
1. Working within Solution Support Center (SSC) in Greater China to deliver proactive and reactive technical support to these customers, both onsite or from office
2. Developing sets of standard deliverables to customers in managing and maintaining environments based on Oracle Database.
3. Assisting customers to maximize the stability, availability and performance of their critical business systems
4. The job is based in Shenzhen.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Proactively work with SSC customers to ensure their successful deployment of Oracle Database Server
2. Tasks ranging from daily DB Support, like problem solving, troubleshooting, DB Upgrade, performance review, patch analysis, knowledge transfer, and SR reviews, proactive software advice.
3. Provide 24x7 pager standby services to named customers on a roaster basis
4. Forming effective professional relationships with Oracle Service Delivery Managers, Oracle Product Support and customer, at all levels, to ensure customer satisfaction with Oracle's products and support organization.
5. Provide assistance to service delivery team in critical situation as requested.
6. Respond and resolve service requests within Key Performance Indicator targets
7. Develop high quality, standard deliverables and methods to promote efficient service delivery
8. Research and respond to technical enquiries from customers
9. Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market.
10. Maintain product expertise within own area of specialization
11. Contribute continuous development to the team
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience required
2. Minimum 8 years DB experiences, at least 6 years in Oracle Database Administration
3. Proven experience of Oracle DB installation, configuration, administration in a production environment in 9i & 10g
4. Real Application Cluster (RAC) knowledge and experience of 9i and 10g is essential
5. Proven Experience in Oracle Data Warehouse is a plus
6. Hands-on experience of any of the followings is a definite advantage:
� Oracle Advanced Queuing, Oracle Streams, Oracle Dataguard, Oracle Recovery
7. Strong UNIX skills is an additional advantage, preferably Linux, additional NT/Win2K skills useful.
8. Team lead experience is a definite advantage
9. Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential
10. PM experience is a plus
11. Candidate with fewer years of working experience will also be considered as Technical Analyst.

2. Strong troubleshooting skill, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
3. Solid customer facing experience
4. Ability to work under pressure in escalated situations
5. Willing to take challenges, and learn new technologies not limited to Oracle Database products

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Self motivated and resourceful
9. Team work essential
10. Good presentation skills
11. Willingness to travel in GC as requested
12. Oracle Certified Professional qualification an advantage.
13. Cantonese speaking and listening is definitely an advantage

Key Objective
1. Working within Solution Support Center in Greater China to deliver proactive and reactive technical support to these customers, both onsite or from office
2. Developing sets of standard deliverables to customers in managing and maintaining environments based on Oracle eBusiness Suite.
3. Assisting customers to maximize the stability, availability and performance of their critical business systems.
4. The job is based in Shenzhen.
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively working with ACS customers to ensure their successful deployment of Oracle eBusiness Suite
2. Providing Assistance to service delivery team in critical situation as requested.
3. Tasks ranging from daily Apps Support, Apps Upgrade, performance review, patch analysis, and SR reviews.
4. Forming effective professional relationships with Oracle Service Delivery Managers, Oracle Product Support and customer staff, at all levels, to ensure customer satisfaction with Oracle's products and support organization.
5. Respond and resolve service requests within Key Performance Indicator targets
6. Developing high quality, standard deliverables and methods to promote efficient service delivery
7. Researching and responding to technical enquiries from customers
8. Maintaining an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market.

Qualifications
1. B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience required
2. Minimum 6 years IT experiences, at least 4-year solid experience in supporting Ebiz Finance/Manufacturing modules
3. Mainly work in Finance/Manufacturing modules; With HR module experience will be an additional advantage.
4. Solid experience and deep knowledge of EBiz R12 is definitely an advantage
5. Proven experience of Oracle eBusiness Suite DBA including System Administration in Oracle Applications on R12, and 11i is definitely an advantage
6. Oracle eBusiness Suite Architecture including good understanding of technology stack
7. Strong UNIX skills is an additional advantage, preferably Linux, additional NT/Win2K skills useful.
