Position 1: Senior software engineer 高级电信软件工程

Job Description: (工作要求)

Lead requirement definition, feature design, coding, testing, system integration, documentation and maintenance of Media Gateway subsystem.

Collaborate with other internal and external product development teams.

Provide professional support for the customer support engineers.

BS/MS in EE/CS or equivalent

Skill Requirements: (技能)

BS 5+, MS 3+ years of development engineering experience in telecommunications is required

Strong experience in RTOS (pSOS, VxWorks, etc.), UNIX, and C/C++ is required
实时操作系统(pSOS, VxWorks), UNIX C 语言编程
Hands-on development experience with one or multiple of the following standards and protocols: H.248/MEGACO, SIP, SIGTRAN.
Class 4/Class 5 call processing experience is a Plus.

A strong background in IP technologies is a MUST, Experience in protocol development such as Layer2 protocol (PPP, HDLC, LAPD, etc.), Layer3 protocol (OSPF, RIP, etc.).

三层协议(OSPF, RIP, 等)
Understanding of SNMP, SS7, Sigtran protocols is desired.

Understanding of VoIP, wireless and wireline technologies, network architecture and related applications is desired

Experience in developing high availability systems is required

Strong understanding and experience with formal software development processes is required

Position 2: Technical Support Engineer  通信技术支持工程师
   Position Summary: (职位工作)
The Technical Service Engineer provides technical support primarily to Customers and secondarily to Installation and Field Verification teams. 负责电信设备的客户技术支持, 现场安装和调试。
Works with minimal to no supervision. Performs all aspects of problem solving assignments.

Position may require supervising/mentoring 1 or more Technical Support Engineers on a project level.
A24 X7 technical support organization requiring after hours, weekend and holiday work along with on-call responsibilities.

Responsible for the achievement of the goals for a project through effective people skills

Manage Customer (cases) and report generation.

Receives only broad technical guidance from peers and manager


    Receives only broad managerial guideline

  
   Frequently resolves technical Customer problems of a complex nature which often requires in-depth analysis and advanced technical knowledge.

    Utilize innovative methods and solutions to resolve customer issues.
   General Skills Criteria:
Perform skills criteria successfully of all lower level Technical Support Engineers and also the following:
   LEADERSHIP:
   
Be able to prioritize issues and put actions in place to resolve.

   
  Interface with senior level TSEs to escalate issues so they are resolved in a timely manner, management on occasions.

     
Provide mentoring to junior-level TSEs on achieving the required tasks to complete a Project on time.

  Extensive experience in trouble shooting and debugging techniques

熟悉UNIX操作系统。


熟悉UNIX下脚本编程,如TCL/TkShell ScriptPerlPython等。


有较为丰富的核心网设备开发或测试经验。熟悉电信网络设备相关知识。能独立承担各项测试工作。能开发测试所需的自动化脚本、工具等。



有如下方面知识的将优先考虑:

- SS7, SIGTRAN
- GSM
- UMTS (Iu, Nb and Mc interfaces)
- CDMA (or SCDMA)
- Megaco (H.248)
- VoIP (RTP/RTCP)
- ATM (PVC/SVC, UNI, PNNI)  
- Test tools(K1297, Inet, Spectra2 etc)

Position 4: 通信系统测试工程师(呼叫处理)


基本要求:

专业英语读写流利。英语听力好。


通信、计算机、电子等相关专业本科以上学历。本科毕业五年以上工作经验或研究生毕业三年以上工作经验。


熟悉UNIX操作系统。


熟悉UNIX下脚本编程,如TCL/TkShell ScriptPerlPython等。


有较为丰富的核心网软交换开发或测试经验。熟悉电信网络设备相关知识。能独立承担各项测试工作。能开发测试所需的自动化脚本、工具等。



有如下方面知识的将优先考虑:

- Class 4 call processing
- Class 5 call processing
- SS7, SIGTRAN
- GSM
- UMTS (Iu, Nb and Mc interfaces)
- CDMA (or SCDMA)
- Megaco (H.248)
- VoIP (RTP/RTCP)
