Job Description: PSG-GBU-Mobile Device Java Software Senior Engineer
Job Purpose:
Looking for a talented senior software engineer to enhance our project development capability for growing business. Major responsibility of this role involves architecture design/tuning, feature development, performance tuning and framework adaptation. The successful candidate will use their expert technical knowledge to assist development manager and help junior team members hitting new records of quality and project cycle time with great agility. The position is based in Beijing but regular interaction with teams in other locations will be required.
Reports to: Product development manager
Work with: Other development team members, product development team, project management team, QA team, documentation team and professional service team.
Job description:
Deliver good design and implement with best code (both functional and non-functional)
Help management team improve operational efficiency.
Drive automation initiatives
Job Requirements: Education and Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of software development experience, particularly in Java
Expert in J2EE platform technologies like: EJBs, Servlets, JMS, JPA, WebServices.
Experience with ORM tools like: Hibernate, iBatis, JDO desired
Strong Database skills (Oracle) with a deep understanding of schema design, database optimization, Data-warehousing, etc is a PLUS
Experience in the field of device management and knowledge of standards such as OMA-DM, OMA-DL is a PLUS
Soft-skills:
Problem Solving: Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution
Communication: Good communication and inter-personnel skills. Good command of English is a PLUS.
Style: Open, innovative, specific, passionate and organized.
