and most important thing is we can't verify whether the application will run properly with more and more data , more and more real data

especially , we seldom can be sure the validation test can meet be done properly, we didn't know whether the result will really help enterprise with their business


but First : we should know how to test our ETL, how to verify it run properly,
not only sunny day scenarios, but pay more attention to rainny day scenarios [/B]

这需要资深人士带领，对一些不确定的东西作出适当的判断，为具体测试的人引导。当然对于很多不确定性，首先设计就应该合理，有足够扩展性，不然开发阶段的QA，只能保证实施当前项目合理、准确、按时地进行，并不能对未来的情况负责，这也是数据仓库和普通软件产品的重大区别之一。
