10gCRS Install on Windows: Available Logical Partitions Not Visible in OUI
(Note: 279863.1)
Symptoms
When running the Oracle Universal Installer to install CRS on a Windows cluster, you will be prompted to choose from the available shared logical partitions on the cluster. These partitions are used to either install Oracle Cluster File System or to designate raw partitions to house ocrcfg and votedsk files for cluster operations.
A logical partition may not be displayed in the OUI despite the fact that the logical partition is clearly visible from the Windows Disk Administrator and has no Drive Letter associated with it.
Cause
The logical partition may have a symbolic link associated with it from a
previous installation of Oracle RAC or CRS.
Fix
You can run the GUIOracleOBJManager.exe tool to clear out the symbolic link.
1. Use the GUIOracleOBJManager.exe tool from the CRS_HOME\bin directory.
Alternatively you can download the 9205 clusterware patch 3483924. The tool
will be in the following staged directory: \3575688\Disk1\preinstall_rac\olm .
2. Launch the tool. You will see any persistant symbolic links under the
Oracle Link Name column.
3. For any names you wish to blank out, enter blank spaces under the
New Link column. Hit enter to commit the value to the column.
4. Go to the Options > Commit to finish on this node. Check other nodes by
launching the tool on each node. Fix as needed so that no nodes have the
symbolic link.

LoveWinter,
---------------------------------
The reason that you can't see share disk in windows is old share
disk formation has not been cleaned before next installation.

关于这一点,能说得更详细一点吗?谢谢! |
