DELL的產品我並不認為是好的,它的筆記本是由台灣仁寶集團代工和聯想出自一家,工廠就在我做事的對面
我佩服的是DELL在ERP方面的進展,而且DELL為甚麼能做直銷而且可以客制,就是因為它的ERP能
支持,聯想在這方面就差了許多

[B]著名的Dell Computer公司1994年就采用了SAP的R/3软件管理计算机的制造作业。由于计算机生产模式的变化，对SAP软件进行了两年的客户化工作，终于因为庞大的系统难以应付急剧变化的市场环境，Dell还是放弃了统一ERP套件的应用，在新的计划中仅仅保留了SAP的人力资源软件。
    Dell新的ERP战略是基于Best-of-Breed 的，从不同软件包中选择最合用的功能替代统一的套件产品。即选择供应链管理供应商 i2 Technologies的物流管理、选择Oracle的定单管理、Glovia公司的库存控制、仓库管理和物料管理。Dell公司在本土、爱尔兰和马来西亚的3000多雇员中运行这样的系统。Dell的战略提出了按企业“量身定制” ERP或“make-to-order” ERP的需求。

It is so strange that you know Dell business processing flow so detail .Did you ever worked in dell ? But there are still something wrong .  Frankly speaking , I am charging of dell inventory control system in Dell China. We will implement Glovia system next early year since it has been implemented in US and Malaysia . But for order management and manufacturing system . The platform is tandem instead of Oracle . Sales system is based on Oracle DB . Dell never using Oracle application . But the most of data is located in Oracle DB . One question : do you think Glovia will have good future in ERP domain? You know few ppl know it in China .
