其他平台不清楚,在hp-ux下试过gsd没有启动的话用dbca创建不了cluster数据库.

I wonder it is platform related. but more likely it is dbca that uses gsd.

have you tried to manually create the database without gsd running ?

since I can't understand why gsd is needed in terms of rac 's architeture. from what I unerstand, gsd is not an must-have components for the cluster database to run.

I think I should check some oracle document about rac on hp-ux.

同意!gsd不起来,建cluster数据库是会提示你启动gsd;aix上遇到过gsd起不来,数据库怎么也建不了.
