Job Descriptions:
1. Design, code and test enhancements to the Ascential ETL process, Business Objects Reports/ Universes, and PL/SQL programs
2. Develop functional and technical specification based on business requirements, translate business reporting requirements into Universe strategies and design
3. Design and develop new ETL logic and BusinessObjects ‘universes’ from logical and physical dimensional Oracle database designs.
4. Use programming and technical skills to fix and resolve issues related to the Business Objects reports
5. As part of Information Availability application team provide system technical support and production support

Job Requirements:
1. Good English oral and written communication skills
2. Good at programming skills, analytical and problem resolution skill
3. Very good knowledge of data warehouse / mart technologies, design, and methodologies
4. Strong PL/SQL skills. Two or more years experience in writing and deciphering freehand SQL including UNION, MINUS, CAST and other SQL functions.
5. Two or more years of general Business Objects exposure in a development environment. Must include at least one year of exposure to BusinessObjects version 6.X or above (XI R2 preferred).
6. One or more years of practical experience in Universe design. Designs must include verifiable expertise in derived tables, creating drill paths, analytics, aggregate awareness, filters, SELECT functions, etc.
7. One or more years of practical experience creating reports in full client and Web Intelligence. Report creation must include strong and verifiable experience in template design, breaks, filters, sections, folds, linking multiple data providers, variable creation, charts, drills, etc.
8. Experience in Ascential DataStage client tools is a plus.
9. University degree (4 -5 years) or equivalent degree majoring in IT areas.

You will apply the knowledge of data warehousing design and implementation principles, and experience with data warehousing technology to develop and implement customer databases. You will work as part of a tightly knit expert development team focused on implementing state of the customer data repositories in rapid time frames. You should be comfortable with working at client sites to build customer data warehouses and data marts, including developing extraction/transformation/load (ETL) processes. You will develop the reports on the customer data repositories and may have the opportunity to develop on-line analytical processing (OLAP) applications.

Desired Skills:
Candidates must have:
        Experience with one or more of the following DBMS': Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata
        Proficiency in developing in a Unix and Windows XP environment
        Experience developing ETL processes using one or more of the following: Informatica, Microsoft DTS, Ab Initio, IBM DataStege, PL/SQL
