vmi功能和零售解决方案

请问大虾，sap中的vmi管理，从我方是供应商的那个角度说，都在讲retail行业解决方案，是否意味着如果我是供应方，要应用vmi，就必须应用sap的零售解决方案？还是我用标准sap也可以实现？
另一个相关问题，假如我为此启用了零售解决方案，是否意味着标准sap的功能有一部分就不能用了？也就是说，sap零售解决方案是单纯在标准版上多加了功能，可以一起用，互不影响，还是应用了retail solution，相关的功能也都要用retail的了，而不能用标准的了？
不知道哪位对此有所了解，请指教一二，谢谢。

saphelp_nw04 ... 这个VMI的功能是在netweaver2004中的吗？
另外看library是在分支IDoc Interface下，是否意味要启用此功能需要有与customer系统的接口才可行？

谢谢stcao，我看过那个vmi的help，正是由于此，所以我有疑问，那里面讲物料的时候，不是用material，而是用article，另外，replenishment planning好像也是retail的词汇和功能，我想整个vmi相关的表也应该至少一些是retail的表吧。因此，我不知道是否不启动retail，照样可以把vmi的功能做下去？

以我对SAP的理解，在SAP中实现某个功能，往往可以分为简单实现和完全实现，看企业怎么应用了。
可以找有实施分销功能经验的顾问来评估一下，花小钱避免大问题。

Is there any chance to realize VMI in MM module?
Vendor stock in MM is just an inhouse stock as a special stock under Storage Location, but it seems not hit the point of current VMI concept since VMI is always defined as an outside hub.
It is always designed as a hub nearby customer's factory to collect many suppliers's cargos.
