[B]Client Connectivity Specialist (Developer/Integrator)[/B]
The successful candidate will play a key role in a team of high-caliber developers & integration specialists working in Shanghai. The Asia Equity Application Programming Group (APG), consisting of developers and integrators, supports client's Equity trading business in Asia Pacific. Asia APG is part of a global Equity application development team that is distributed across New York, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo. We collaborate closely with our global colleagues and have taken the lead on several global development projects. We are looking for a confident individual with a keen interest and a desire to provide technology to enable the Equity business in Asia. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the Unix/Linux environment, as well as database experience. Perl/shell scripting will be largely used to automate integration, deployment and architectural solutions. This position involves participating on all levels of ongoing system development, including: requirements analysis, design, architecture, implementation, integration, testing and deployment. The environment is highly pressured and the successful candidate will need to be able to handle competing demands on their time and manage their own work to deadlines.

Flexible and innovative
Technical Skills:
Intermediate or advanced experience of Unix/Linux platform, Sybase/SQL and scripting [Perl preferred]
Strong technical ability and analytical skills
Good People Skills and Communication Skills is essential
Ability to establish and maintain relationships across various IT organizations
FIX Knowledge is a big plus
Experience in Equity trading systems is a plus
